Product details
The Mountain Kingsnake (Lampropeltis pyromelana) is one of the smallest representatives of the kingsnake genus. For years, this beautifully patterned snake has been bred for the terrarium trade; however, the larger representatives of the kingsnakes are becoming increasingly popular. In its native habitat, the mountainous regions of North America characterized by scrubland and open forests, Lampropeltis pyromelana can be found at elevations of up to 2500 meters. In addition to the nominate form L.p. pyromelana, there are also other color variants that differ slightly.
