In 5 stages through the beautiful panoramic landscape of the Lech Valley. The Lech Experience Trail has replaced the former Lech High Trail and has undergone significant route improvements in the last third. Easy paths, trails, and paths continue to wind near the river bends through the magnificent hilly terrain, offering great views of the landscape shaped by glacial activity all the way to the high mountains. Finally, the trail runs along the western shore of Lake Forggen, where many swimming opportunities arise. Medieval towns such as Landsberg, Schongau, and Füssen can be discovered, and of course, the Romans also left their mark. Rare plants and animals inhabit the river meadows. This trail is particularly suited for nature lovers and those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. In 5 days or more, even beginner hikers can complete the nearly 90 km long route through the beautiful Alpine foothills.
