There is no other, more comprehensive curriculum than "More than a Democracy," which examines democracy and its key principles through the lens of seven models: the neutral-liberal democracy, the value-oriented liberal democracy, the social democracy, the socialist democracy, the multicultural democracy, the national democracy, and the feminist democracy. The curriculum integrates theoretical articles with 72 lesson plans that help students critically assess reality, enabling them to take an active role in shaping their preferred model of democracy. The complex social order of the 21st century requires the choice of the right democratic model, which seems more important than ever before. Over a period of ten years, the Adam Institute developed and wrote this curriculum.
