The guideline series VDI 6010 applies to safety-related systems in buildings. Sheet 3 provides guidance on the organization, execution, and documentation of full-scale tests in buildings. The guideline is particularly aimed at demonstrating the functionalities required by public law during initial inspections, repeat inspections, and inspections following significant changes (principle of operation testing). Since there have been no standards for the acceptance of these tests so far, Sheet 3 thus serves as the testing basis to meet regulatory requirements.
