Product details

Education is a valuable asset and is considered the foundation for the competitiveness and prosperity of an economy, and thus also for each individual. There are many reasons to pursue further education and obtain a degree. One of the most common reasons is the expectation of a higher income and, consequently, a certain level of prosperity that comes with completing a degree. But is a degree a guarantee of a high income? Is the long path of studying and the sacrifice of leisure time and income worth it to achieve the desired bachelor's or master's degree? Is education truly worthwhile in Switzerland, and how can we measure the return on education? More importantly, which level of education offers the highest "return on investment"? This study answers these questions for the Swiss university of applied sciences landscape for the first time, based on a comprehensive data set.
