Each main chapter begins with a double page that briefly introduces the content and leads into the chapter theme with a large motivating photo. The subsequent introductory text is oriented around the image and ends with a question that introduces the chapter content. The material page includes tasks at all levels of difficulty. These also take into account the areas of competence listed in the KMK recommendations for the Intermediate School Leaving Certificate.
