Anton and his Polish caregiver Zofia are drawn to the island: Zofia's childhood friend Janek, who works as a musician on Juist, is considered missing. Between sandbanks and thalasso therapy, the two soon make a gruesome discovery: a dead body that originates from Anton's homeland, the Sauerland.
