The hymnal of the New Apostolic Church, edition with four-part settings, contains the melodies and texts of all songs. Unlike the melody edition, this version includes four-part vocal arrangements for 279 songs. The main section 'The Spiritual Year' follows the course of the church year. In the main section 'Worship Service', the songs follow the liturgical order and its elements. This is the largest part of the hymnal, with 185 songs. The section 'Sacraments' is divided into three parts (Holy Baptism, Holy Communion, Holy Sealing). The section 'Blessing Actions' is divided into Confirmation and Wedding. The songs in the section 'Living the Faith' are suitable for worship services but also accompany individuals in their personal daily lives. All melodies have been transposed into easily singable pitches. With regard to the playability of the organ arrangements, only keys with up to three sharps are used. In some cases, old melodies have been carefully brought closer to their original form or reverted to it, allowing the emphasis of the texts to be better highlighted. Some melodies from the 19th century have been gently smoothed out and adapted to general singing practice.
