The book "Black Oak" is published on the occasion of the exhibition "Land of Glass" at the Klostermuseum St. Georgen in Stein am Rhein. In it, Nina Weber depicts a fantastic autobiography: landscapes of an inner journey without beginning and without end. The three-part image cycle is inspired by the atmosphere of the place Stein, its picturesque views, idyllic river landscapes, medieval buildings, and myths. At the same time, "Land of Glass" is a journey in the footsteps of Nietzsche and Romanticism. Here, an inner connection to the Kloster Sankt Georgen is revealed, which has endured through the centuries since the Reformation, not least as a romantic imagination.
