The Munich band Blumentopf has shaped German rap: seven studio albums, more than 800 concerts, and the RAPortagen on ARD during the World Cup and European Championship games have made Cajus, DJ Sepalot, Roger, Schu, and Wunder well-known beyond Germany. When they announced their breakup on October 23, 2015, and announced a farewell tour, the concerts sold out within a few hours. The book tells the story of TOPF through images and relics from the band's collection. Memories and anecdotes from companions, contemporaries, fans, and critics complete a multifaceted approach to the phenomenon of Blumentopf while also painting a picture of the development of hip-hop in Germany over the past twenty years.
