About the Work

The Federal Registration Act harmonizes the registration law that was previously regulated in the federal states. A uniform nationwide regulation has been created, bringing important innovations:

• Registration information for address trading is only possible with the consent of the individual.
• Security authorities have online access to registration data around the clock.
• The landlord's obligation to participate in the registration of tenants is reintroduced.
