Comic adventures of Tarzan. On March 15, 1931, the first colored comic page of Tarzan was published in several American newspapers. This and the following 27 pages were illustrated by Rex Maxon. Starting from September 27, 1931, Hal Foster, who later became world-famous for Prince Valiant, took over the series. He produced 293 pages for this series in the following years. In mid-1937, the legendary Burne Hogarth, known for his dynamic drawing style, succeeded him. Aside from a longer break in the 1940s during which Ruben Moreira illustrated, Hogarth continued the adventure stories until 1950. Bocola is publishing these restored Tarzan comics in their original colors for the first time in ten volumes. In 10 large hardcover editions (26.3 x 35.4 cm), the detailed illustrations are showcased beautifully. Each volume contains approximately 112 pages and is priced at 29.90 EUR, including two annual issues.
