"Grenzverkehr 3" is the third volume of an anthology series that brings together literary voices from various countries and cultures. This volume features new texts from 15 writers who participated in the Writers-in-Residence program of KulturKontakt Austria in 2008 and 2009. The authors come from countries such as Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Lithuania, Moldova, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, and Ukraine. Their works provide a literary dialogue between East and West, addressing both historical and current societal challenges. The texts invite reflection on a Europe that, more than two decades after the transition, still struggles with divisions and the search for common identities.
