It is increasingly recognized how important regular singing in schools is for the development of all aspects of a child's abilities, including their social skills. The voice is an expression of our personality, and singing is a fundamental need. Thanks to JEKISS, children experience: Singing makes you happy! JEKISS, along with its accompanying media, promotes singing within the natural vocal range of children without the need for humming or shouting, and it consciously distinguishes itself from the abundance of children's songs that are notated too low and their CD recordings. The goal of JEKISS is to create a basic offering that reaches all elementary school children daily, regardless of music lessons, and brings together children from different cultures and social backgrounds into a homogeneous singing community. Singing is particularly suitable for this purpose, as it does not require any special prerequisites.
