The little hedgehog and his friends are resting from their preparations for Christmas Eve when there’s a knock at the door. An owl needs help because she has lost her nest in a heavy storm. Despite the delicious food and a cozy spot by the fireplace, the owl grows increasingly restless. She explains that she wasn't alone; the marten family has also lost their home and was close behind her. They must have gotten lost in the dark forest. Quickly, the little hedgehog and his friends grab their lanterns, put on warm hats, and set out to search. When the wind blows out the lanterns, the owl's calls guide the friends to the right tree, where the martens have taken shelter in its hollow trunk. Together, they make their way back, and the little hedgehog invites everyone to celebrate Christmas Eve with him. Will they make it in time?.
