Such stories are abundant. An engineer, lost his job, lost his wife, ended up on the street: perhaps a very ordinary fate, but those it affects can be shattered by it. This is the case for Darius Kopp, the IT expert, who first loses his position and then the great love of his life. For Flora, his wife, has taken her own life, and since then, Darius Kopp has not known how to continue existing. Eventually, he gets into his car, travels first to Hungary, where Flora grew up, and then just keeps going. Along the way, he reads her secret diary, which he found after her death, and learns how incredibly endangered Flora's life always was - and that he had not noticed any of it.
