The underground beneath Berlin is a world of its own. For a hundred years, the subway has been weaving its networks, countless tunnels and bunkers hold secret stories, and day in and day out, countless people pass through. Not to forget the musicians who fill this underworld with sounds. One of them has come from Prague: Petr Bém, a young German teacher, fleeing from his old life and full of longing for a new one. When he meets Pancho Dirk in the underground, who is obsessed with music, the two form a band and name it U-BAHN, as it’s all about darkness, noise, and tempo. Then Petr falls in love with Katrin, the daughter of a train conductor.
