Felix Dieckmann's broad approach to art allows him to view this tribute to Kräftner from various angles and to incorporate all these facets into his book. Dieckmann's woodcuts underscore and complement Hertha Kräftner's poem, creating a new composition that the reader experiences through the combination of word and image.
