Buddha was an excellent psychologist and therapist. His methods make us aware of our problem areas: our fears, attachment to fixed ideas, control and being right, our expectations, demands, and judgments about others. Short communication exercises and meditations provide simple starting points to find mutual acceptance, appreciation, and mindfulness. Then we learn to give and take, with all our vulnerability and all our potential for love.
