The written correction of student work is one of the central daily professional tasks of every elementary school teacher. However, it has remained overlooked in primary school research despite its relevance. The author addresses this gap with this qualitative study. She analyzes how individual teachers describe their daily written corrections. Additionally, she highlights similarities and differences in the daily correction work of the interviewed elementary school teachers.
