The "Fuck-You Politics of the Upper Class" (Michael Naumann) has provoked a "Class War" (Warren Buffet), which is largely still being fought in the media, but may soon spill over into parliaments and the streets. With the trained eyes of a cultural philosopher, Björn Vedder shows that the criticism of the "rich rabble," which is currently trending in debates, films, books, and television series, is half-hearted and hypocritical. It demonizes a small social group without questioning the underlying economic system and our own role within it. This misguided criticism can be dangerously detrimental to political culture and the pressured middle class.
