Product details

Since 1988, architect Peter Ottmann, active in Munich and Berlin, has realized numerous projects for both public and private clients in collaboration with artists. Ottmann's aim is always to involve artists as early as possible in the planning process. The artistic work is understood as an integral part of the overall concept, extending far beyond mere "art in architecture." Some of the projects were also realized with the participation of residents. This new book presents a selection of around 30 projects that were planned between 1988 and 2014 in Munich and the Bavarian region, as well as in Berlin and Weimar. The range of architectural and artistic interventions in urban spaces, on facades, inside buildings, and in the surroundings of structures is extensive. It includes color designs, glass works, and furnishings.
