The Survivor Girl, also known as the Final Girl, is the most female last survivor in a horror film who manages to escape the killer or confronts him head-on. In the late '70s, she was portrayed as innocent, while in the '90s, she became empowered and sassy. The Survivor Girl has since become an indispensable part of the horror genre and one of the few female icons of fright. After collaborating on two comics for Zwerchfell's zombie anthology "Die Toten," Ingo Römling and Christopher Tauber continued their partnership in the form of a webcomic: Tauber wrote, and Römling illustrated. The project was primarily meant to be fun for both of them. Thus, they decided to stay true to their shared passion for horror while also paying homage to their mutual fondness for old MAD parodies. It is a loosely released webcomic that lovingly pokes fun at stereotypes.
