German, 2010Product details
Bachelor's thesis from 2010 in the field of Computer Science - Business Informatics, grade: 1, University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt, language: German. Abstract: In the mid-1980s, numerous companies in Europe and the United States began innovative and discontinuous attempts to radically change existing organizational structures. In the summer of 1990, an article by Michael Hammer titled "Reengineering Work - Don't Automate, Obliterate" was published in the Harvard Business Review. Shortly thereafter, the bestseller "Reengineering the Corporation" by Michael Hammer and James A. Champy was released, thereby establishing the term Business Reengineering. The processes and methods described in it were developed in response to economic challenges.
