The 20 lessons in this volume are each dedicated to a specific topic (e.g., travel, everyday stress, or the image of Germany in China), introduced by a main text. This is followed by relevant vocabulary, grammatical explanations in both German and Chinese, as well as an exercise section. A second text with vocabulary lists and exercises serves to deepen the topic of each lesson. Vocabulary aids are provided for pure listening comprehension exercises. Each lesson concludes with a section on colloquial language and writing exercises. Audio recordings of all lesson texts and vocabulary lists, along with answer keys, facilitate self-study.
