The Persian textbook, designed for modern foreign language teaching, encourages independent speaking at an early stage and enables students to work independently with written materials.
Learning objectives:
Communicative competence for (professional) everyday life, level A2 (speaking, writing, listening comprehension) or B1 (text comprehension) of the European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Conception:
Each lesson begins with a prose text in the standard language. Over the 24 lessons, a continuous story is told in these texts. The prose text is followed by a colloquial dialogue in which the pronunciation is based on Tehran Persian. At the end of each lesson, there is a text about the country, which offers the opportunity to deepen and practise the grammar already learned as well as reading and translating. The grammar explanations and the exercises are in Persian wherever possible, only at the beginning is a German translation given. To promote listening comprehension, all reading texts, dialogues and special exercises have been recorded for the mp3 CD included in the book (with a running time of around 2 1/2 hours). The voice recordings, additional exercises and a vocabulary trainer, with which the vocabulary of the learning vocabulary can be practised, are available for download at www.buske.de/persisch-1.
