Learning objectives: Translation practice, development and deepening of communicative and intercultural competence. Concept: The exercise book consists of nine chapters, each dealing with a specific type of text (e.g., emails, letters, interviews, recipes, instructions for use). The texts are primarily taken from the print media and reflect different areas of life. As a rule, two Italian sample texts are used as a transition to the German texts, which are then translated into Italian. Each chapter contains texts in Italian and in German, translation exercises, and grammatical explanations. The exercises can be checked with the help of the exercise key included in the book. The index allows for targeted reference.
