While the critique of intellect answers the question of what the consciousness of the unconscious society is like, the critique of economics explains how the life process of the unconscious society can succeed. One could even go further and say that all systematic philosophy, which adheres to a norm of timeless absolute truth, consciously or unconsciously leads to an apology for social class division, because categories of thought that claim timeless validity can never be derived from the elements of manual labor, as these are of a spatiotemporal nature. Only a theory of scientific knowledge, which is based on a norm of time-bound truth, can serve the ultimate historical unity of manual and intellectual labor. Such a theory must be dialectical, for the logic of time-bound truth is nothing else.
