Karl Plobergers passion for gardening began in his childhood. Back then, it was a sense of adventure and curiosity: How can a seed turn into a radish? How long does it take for a chestnut to grow into a tree?

This adventure, which started when he was six years old, continues to this day. The wonderful thing is that through his journalistic work on television, radio, and in newspapers, and especially through thousands of lectures and 19 books, he has been able to share this enthusiasm for gardening.

The book "The Garden for Intelligent Lazy People" marked the beginning—over 15 years ago. Since then, it has been reprinted in many editions and translated into numerous languages. However, even a book ages. Therefore, the decision has now been made to completely revise it, featuring new, beautiful images, the best first-aid tips, and especially many new gardening questions with concise and clear answers. I hope this book will continue to hold its position as a classic for organic gardening.
