Product details

When and how do people perceive and evaluate the attitudes and actions of those close to them as either just or unjust? What role does human conscience play in this? Based on these and similar questions, Helm Stierlin develops his new concept of relational justice. The focus is on the private sphere of human relationships. Therapists and counselors, in this understanding, act as companions to identify, assess, and balance the accounting crises that arise in relationships. Stierlin emphasizes the significance and importance of the dimension of justice in shaping relationships. He builds on his own concepts of relational individuation and the existentially relevant system of belonging, as well as on Gunther Schmidt's concept of the inner parliament, the founder of hypnosystemic therapy.
