This book addresses for the first time the hypnosystemic concept of Dr. Gunther Schmidt in the context of exam anxiety among students. The goal of hypnosystemic work is to find a good way to manage exam anxiety, which must be viewed as a part of the person and simultaneously as a messenger of worthy needs. Accordingly, the interventions presented do not focus on eliminating symptoms through resource activation, as is still practiced in some forms of Ericksonian hypnotherapy. Taking into account the latest scientific findings, such as embodiment and motivation research, interventions are introduced that involve the body as an important resource and also include imaginations that are not solely focused on resources but are explicitly resource-oriented.
