The theory of temperament has become the most popular part of Huter's science, psychophysiognomy. However, it should be noted that to this day, there has been no real reception necessary to understand the significance of the theory of temperament. The theory of temperament is, in a way, the ABC of both scientific and practical psychophysiognomic knowledge of human nature. This work aims to pave the way for a general reception while simultaneously introducing a fundamental part of the core teachings of Huter's psychophysiognomy. There is hardly a significant area of knowledge or life that does not receive essential impulses from Huter's theory of temperament.
