Product details

The Pleasures of the Rod: The present work "The Pleasures of the Rod" is a manuscript that was first published in Paris in 1893 under the title "The Callipygians or The Pleasures of the Rod." The author, Countess de La Fayette, hid behind the pseudonym Eduard Droz. A German translation was not published until 1906. Here, the work is now available in a new edition. This small erotic work reflects the flagellant desires of certain ladies of the noble English society of the 19th century. The Objects of Desire of the Slave Trader: The widow of a wealthy Turkish Pasha supplies an entire province with slave girls, who are carefully prepared in a palace for their future role of serving men. Obscene depictions alternate with poetic-lyrical episodes. It portrays oriental life as it is.
