Dr. Brumm is doing what he does every Friday: gardening. While he is digging up his vegetable patch, he stumbles upon something very unusual: a genuine dinosaur bone! With the help of Badger and Sperm Whale, Dr. Brumm excavates the rest of the dinosaur and quickly has a gigantic Megasaurus skeleton in his garden. Only the head of the prehistoric creature is missing. The trail leads right to Farmer Hackenpiep's garden. But digging here is absolutely impossible, as Farmer Hackenpiep doesn't even tolerate moles on his property! However, Dr. Brumm, Badger, and Sperm Whale naturally find a way to outsmart Hackenpiep and finally get their hands on the dinosaur skull.
