Private detective Pepe Carvalho thinks that avoiding it all is the best option and barricades himself with various delicacies in his home in Vallvidrera. But suddenly, military personnel and the Ministry of the Interior appear in his living room and ask for his help. Someone seems to be sabotaging the Olympic events: Ben Johnson runs the 100 meters in an incredible 6.4 seconds, and IOC president Juan Antonio Samaranch, who just handed Carvalho a generous check, has been replaced by a double. Accompanied by Vera, a Serbian bodybuilder and Tito's daughter, Pepe Carvalho sets out to uncover the masterminds behind the conspiracy.
