A wonderful picture book with a Scandinavian feel-good atmosphere. Gnome Alfred has spent a cozy winter in his little house with the goose Aada and the snail Fanni. As the days start to warm up again, they marvel at the first signs of spring, watch the migratory birds return from the south, and frolic together in Gnome Forest. But there are also dangers lurking there, like the huge brown bear, which they are very afraid of. When a heavy storm puts all the animals of the forest in danger, it is precisely the bear who comes to their rescue. Could Alfred, Aada, Fanni, and the bear perhaps become friends after all?.
