Hate is learned. And if hate can be learned, then love can also be learned. - Nelson Mandela
Emil is angry that he has to move against his will. In the new city, the teenager rejects everything and withdraws more and more, until a classmate opens up a completely new world for him: the world of right-wing music. The lyrics, full of anger, hate, and violence, resonate deeply with Emil. Through this access, he slips further into the right-wing scene. Together with his comrades, he directs his anger towards everyone he perceives as different and thus inferior. His numerous crimes eventually land him in prison, which turns out to be a great opportunity for Emil. He participates in an exit program from the right-wing scene and slowly finds his way back to the normal world. His encounter with a woman who survived the Holocaust as a child helps him in this journey. The witness Anne shares her experiences with Emil, recounting the inhumane power of the Nazis that Emil once glorified - and in doing so, she opens his eyes.
Moving, unique, and highly relevant - a former neo-Nazi and a Holocaust survivor share their stories with each other.
