In 1968, many people rose up against the communist dictatorships in Prague and Warsaw. In East Germany, however, those in power suppressed any criticism of the system. Biology student Konni, who sympathizes with the reformers, is expelled from university due to his criticism of the suppression of the "Prague Spring" and is monitored by state security. An informant leads to his arrest and conviction. What Konni does not know is that the traitor involved in the planned escape to West Germany was one of his friends. The authors of the project group "The Time Travelers" depict the fate of a young person in East Germany in their graphic novel through powerful imagery.
