Product details
The island of Usedom developed into a popular holiday region on the Baltic Sea from the 19th century onwards. After the establishment of the Nazi regime, life on the island changed significantly. Military restricted areas, foreign and forced labor camps sealed off large parts of the island. The Allied air raids on the center of German rocket research in Peenemünde and the refugee treks towards the end of the war are also part of Usedom's history.
