Seventeen-year-old student Alice moves with her father to the remote village of Hillsbright. While most of the residents either avoid her or play nasty pranks on her, her classmate Hazel takes her under her wing. She tells Alice that with her arrival, an old curse is about to be fulfilled once again: the curse of the Cheshire Cat. What Alice initially considers a silly superstition turns into a bitter reality after her encounter with the Cheshire Cat. She quickly realizes that the curse threatens not only her life but also the lives of the people she loves.
