An increasing number of preschool and elementary school-aged children are exhibiting behavioral problems. Aggressiveness, restlessness, anxiety, difficulties in social interaction, and other issues are being observed more frequently. Behavioral problems in early childhood typically do not just disappear; rather, they tend to intensify as the child grows older. The rising number of children with behavioral issues in daycare centers and elementary schools is placing an increasing burden on the educational staff working there. It is essential for daily practice in daycare centers and elementary schools to recognize potential risks for behavioral problems early on, to communicate observations to responsible institutions or individuals, and to respond promptly, possibly in collaboration with other institutions.
