No one could claim that learning Chinese is easy. The teaching material series "Discover China" acknowledges the challenges that learners face with the Chinese language and helps make learning and teaching efficient, meaningful, and enjoyable. "Discover China" is designed in four levels, guiding beginners with no prior knowledge (Level 1) up to the upper intermediate level (Level 4). "Discover China" has been specifically developed for young adults and adult learners, employing a communicative approach to teaching Chinese as a foreign language. Emphasis is placed on pair and group exercises, as well as a wide range of speaking and listening activities, enabling learners to gain confidence and fluency in using the Chinese language.
