The monograph documents a building by Vittorio Magnago Lampugnani. Lampugnani is the author of the master plan for the Novartis Campus in Basel and with this house, he realizes what can be considered a belated model building within the urban planning of the campus. His house follows the building lines and eaves height precisely and opens up to the factory street with a columned arcade on the high ground floor. As an urban building, it refrains from any individualistic flair and adheres to formal restraint and urban continuity.
