Since 2005, world-renowned architects have been realizing a vision together: the Novartis Campus is emerging in the northwest of Basel as an international hub of knowledge, innovation, and interaction. Based on the master plan by Vittorio Magnago Lampugnani, invited architects are planning and constructing laboratory buildings, offices, and research centers. Carefully designed and richly illustrated monographs describe the architectural, constructional, and urban planning aspects. Plans, sketches, an inventory, and a detailed appreciation of the artistic contributions complement the individual volumes.
