Who are the people affected by administrative care? How did their care come about? How did they experience internment, and what impact did it have on their subsequent lives? Based on 58 interviews with those affected, this volume seeks answers to these questions. By incorporating accounts from witnesses, the study gains new insights from a biographical perspective on administrative care in Switzerland during the 1950s to 1970s.
