Product details
Boos sits bound to a wheelchair, squeezed into the booth of his kiosk, in the main hall of a monstrous complex that combines a morgue and hospital, social services, and research laboratory. The recording of his memories contains a vital sensuality. In radical contrast to this is the utopian project of his friend Adrien: humanity is "disposed of" in a submarine city where all its desires are fulfilled through a kind of holographic total view. "Boesch [...] has delivered his masterpiece as a science fiction author with the invention of this utopian underwater city, which appears simply brilliant as an idea and in its meticulous, inventive elaboration.".
