Product details

The Claritop course is aimed at clarinetists who want to purposefully and comprehensively develop their skills after the initial stages. Claritop is suitable for beginners as well as advanced players and consists of a theory booklet and a music booklet. The exercises in the music booklet are worked on together with the corresponding explanations in the theory booklet.

  • Learning in small, incremental steps
  • Mastering the fundamentals and learning in a concrete musical context
  • Practical and enjoyable

With Claritop, both teachers and advanced students gain a structured insight into Matthias Müller’s current and personal teaching method, allowing them to independently recognize overarching connections in clarinet playing and to seek solutions without unnecessary detours, applying them to new situations.

Swiss Music Journal 12/2006: "The course, of which one eagerly anticipates the second volume, has the best prerequisites to become a textbook for clarinet playing. A comparable publication has not yet existed in the German-speaking world. Claritop will also inspire experienced educators to rethink their own methods."

Practice & Music Making 1/2007: "From personal experience, I can add that Claritop is not only an attractive but also an effective teaching resource. Since it has accompanied my daily warm-up routine, I have noticed progress in my clarinet playing."

The Clarinet 1/2009.
