Ten years ago, Swiss architect Hans-Jörg Ruch achieved great international success with his large-format and lavishly equipped book "Historical Houses in the Engadin." Now, his office presents a volume with a representative selection of works in identical format. "Close-up - Ruch & Partner Architects 1994-2018" meticulously documents new constructions, renovations, and refurbishments created by Ruch & Partner Architects between 1994 and 2018, showcasing residential and private houses, hotels, as well as public buildings (including museums, galleries, libraries), infrastructure projects, and larger residential complexes. The artfully restored and renovated farmhouses and patrician houses featured in the first book have also been included, supplemented by four new such interventions. As in the successful predecessor, all buildings are presented in atmospheric images.
