This volume includes three individual stories. Paul Smeley, a Dutch photographer, wins first place in the World Press Photo competition. During an interview, he explains how he teleported into the corpse of the German lieutenant Uwe Jungmann during World War II. He had implanted a camera in his eye so that no one could see it. While searching for objects to photograph, he found a woman holding a baby in her arms. When the woman realized what would happen to them at the entrance of the gas chamber, Paul, as Lieutenant Jungmann, instructed her to hand him the child. She believed this was the only way to save her baby. The little boy survived, but how else has Paul, this mysterious photographer, woven himself into history?.
