Communicative action as a semiotic process

Product details
Can rationality be separated into communicative vs. strategic? Is the thesis of the primacy of communicative rationality and communicative action tenable? These questions are addressed from the perspective of a semiotic theory of knowledge developed by the American philosopher Charles S. Peirce at the end of the 19th century. Within the framework of a critical analysis of knowledge, the focus is on the problem of what conditions enable human capacity for experience to act communicatively.
